I'm currently with a LayeredTech Cpanel self managed server and last night the hard drive went fcsk. Being late at night and with LT's "phenomenal" support I was pretty much stuck.
I was able to get a new harddrive configured by 3am but the phones were already ringing and I only had the home and mysql directories backed up properly in case of absolute disaster.
I attempted to start restoring from what I had but obviously it was a mess.
By 9am I had 100 customers ringing and happened to come across ServerProgress.com mentioned in WHT forums. I called the number on the site and a REAL person picked up who spoke English and actually knew what they were talking about.
Steve with Server Progress was willing to take a look at the situation immediately and managed to recover most of the data from the fcsk drive. I know a decent bit of cpanel/bash but he is a PRO.
He had me up and rolling before the morning was out. Just wanted to highly recommend him for anyone else who knows that good help is hard to find.
