I am currently moving away from PlatinumServerManagement and was wondering if anyone has suggestions for another server management company. Long story short, I am unhappy with my current service.

And I am not familiar with any case even a year ago that we did not reply for 48 hours. Actually I'll have to apologize here about my 48 hour time line that I stated. I've just looked through my emails and looks like its was aprox. 14 hours with no reply for new server set up. I wouldn't have cared as long as there were timely ticket updates, as least I'd know something is happening since this was my first dedicated server I wasn't going to take any chances with the sites on my server.
I think it was at the same time I was pissed off at OpenSRS for lack of communication which was about two days+.

As for our support service, you complimented us several times, both here and in our helpdesk, and you still continue to use our service as recent as 2 days ago. I'll gladly paste proof of this here as well with your permission.Hi, I am also with PSM for more than a year now. My ID is: bhanot so just they know. They have been great support to me and almost all issues have been fixed instantly, new server setups are also done in less then 24 hours ago. My tickets gets answered quickly. All is great. Whenever server goes down, before I know PSM submits ticket to my DC which is really good. I just have a small suggestion here to make that when you guys submit ticket at DC then please open a ticket on your side also so that your tech. guys can check the server etc. I am suggesting this becuase once i was out of town with no computer/internet and suddenly i started getting calls form clients that server is not working and it was like midnight so I had to switch off my phone to avoid customers and in early morning i went to a cafe to check the things. Anyways over service is quite good i will give 7 points out of 10. 3 points less becuase PSM puts tickets on hold and give canned replies. But canned replies do not bother me if the work gets done But please do not put all tickets on hold. Thank you.it feels like they are doing a great favor to us by managing our server.
I'd have to agree. They were great when I first signed up with them over a year ago, but not too sure now. Anyway, just signed up with SeeksAdminHi,
Now i have both PSM and SeeksAdmin with me. Both are equally good. SeeksAdmin provide discounts and I kinda prefer their service becuase their timezone matches with mine. So when they are sleeping I am sleeping and when awake am als awake. So in morning when I am actively working I get fast and instant responses from them as their service is outsourced to India and Pakistan and I am in India
ABout PSM, they are also as good as SeeksAdmin, I like few points of PSM and SA which I will discuss below:
1. PSM ticket system is straight and to the point. Where as SA uses WHMCS type thing which is somewhat for domains reg. and hosting etc.
2. PSM monitors your server and when it goes down they submit ticket etc. to your DC so it comes up or gets fixed. Where as SA does monitor your server but they do not submit ticket. They just notify you which is basically useless to me (Please do not mind, this is just what I think)
3. If you're in USA etc. then I suggest you go with PSM, if you're in India or Pakistan or near then i suggest go for SA.
4. PSM sometimes gives canned replies. Where as SA do not give any canned replies.
5. PSM sometimes takes too much time for very tiny issues which won't take more than a min. to fix in this case I am not really sure about SA as I have not seen any delay with them.
6. I feel that as PSM is a old company about 7 years as they say, they have a lot of servers to handle where as their man power is low in compared to work due to which the tickets stay pending but I am not 100% sure. Maybe they have increased manpower etc.
7. PSM provides 1st server at $29 and 2nd or more at $19 per month. SA waives off setup fee and costs $24 on 1st and waives setup fee on 2nd also till 5th So till 5th sever SA will cost same as PSM (After 5th server they offer discount, I don't know how much).
8. Overall both compaines are missing the extra bit they need to have in one way or another. If they fix these tiny issues they will rock!

Nice review. We're getting rid of the unneeded features of whmcs shortly - an upgrade brought them all back. We like the billing system, and the ability to offer our clients many payment options. It will be cleaned up shortly.
Full Admin plans do have escalation procedures that are to be followed in the event of any downtime.
Oh and we don't sleep. Guarantee 2 & 1 hour max response times for base & full admin plans respectively. If you have a ticket that has not met this guarantee, drop billing a line.
