Is it constantly being updated, or does search engine rank only update when google does it's dance to update PR and backlinks every 3-5 weeks?Yes...to both. Google will recognize changes to a page on a semi-daily basis....depends on how often googlebot visits your site. These changes can cause minor shifts in the results. The PR and backlink updates...which happen about every 3-5 weeks will cause major shifts in the serps.
