I am using some seo software for social bookmarking and article directories submission

Is software really effect for website?
with these kind of software What is the impression for search engine? I think most of the top directories or social bookmarking sites can identify such automated submissions and penalize your site. It would be appropriate to have some semi automated tools.
In case of articles try to work on spinning and submitting the content to different article directories. using software to submit site in social bookmarking will not effective and it may penalize your site I would rather go for manual submission.
Though, there is no harm in doing automated submission, just because the pace is so fast which creates a doubt for search engines. Submission with software is not recommended for good SEO results. Main reason for this is every popular sites have captcha code. So the software are not able to submit in those sites. Remember Google consider backlinks from good popular sites for rankings.
Second thing if you do all submissions at one time this can be considered as spam. So it is advisable to do the link building regularly in small quantity so search engines regularly to crawl your site. This is much beneficial then bulk posting. seo software is not beneficial for our website.search engine may be ban your site.I always do manually submission. I don't use any software for submission.
