So i am developing a new website for myself through a company provider. Lets say i work for geico insurance. I am able to create a personal agents site that can either have my own personal domain
www.floridageicoinsurance.com
OR i can choose a subdomain of geico.com like
www.florida.geico.com
However the main ww.geico.com site would not have any backlinks going to my site there for not improving my page rank...
So which domain should i go with and why??
Thanks subdomain with company probably would help you with marketing better. Better you go with geico.com so that your domainwill get the page rank
[removed] YOu can go with the main domain page and its easy to promote in search engine for your business. I think you should create your own page like this domain/yourownpage. This way, you will have your own page and at the same time, your main website and your own page will receive traffic from eachother too. Its better to create a new page rather than creating a subdomain.
