Hi freinds,, I have planned to work for Inner pages of my site.. Can anyone please explain here how to improve SERP position for Inner Pages?? What are the very effective SEO strategies for inner pages that will improve SERP positions very quickly?? Please share your experience about this topic.. Waiting for your replies.. If you want to improve you SERP for you inner page then its not different you should have to done same what you did for you home page. Do on page optimization and after then Work on social bookmarking, Directory and articles. Hey treat inner page like home page and do same way seo as home page.

some times some directory services reject inner pages. Each page can be ranked for its own keywords, so as has already been said, SEO is not really different for inner pages than the home page.
Give each page a descriptive name, so that it is e.g. www.yourdomain.com/about-your-page.html. It should also have its own title and for the benefit of searchers its own meta description. Contextual links to it from the homepage are very useful. Just try to build some high quality backlinks to your inner pages (with the keyword as an anchor text to help you for SERP!) // Also do on-page SEO like unique titles, desc's, Alt and Title tags, H1 tags, etc
While distributing the link try to put a direct link of the inner pages where you want your visitors should land. This way you will build backlinks to the inner pages and the inner pages will start appearing high in SERPs. What everyone else said, except remember to link all your pages to one another as much as possible. Google really loves this, because it improves your site's navigation. 2. Site Structure checkup. Link down for Homepage. Link up, link across and link down for Categories. Link up and link across for deep/bottom pages.
3. Identify inner pages with no or less internal backlinks.
4. Internal linking (on copy). Link to other relevant pages whenever necessary. (for blogs) Suggesting relevant reading below each copy can also be done.
5. Use keywords as anchor text on links.
6. Optimize title tag.

Optimize meta descriptions (for viewers of your listing on SERP) Write proper meta for inner page and do link building strategies like directory submission, bookmarking, link in article submission, blog posting and etc. Same methods, what you are doing for home page optimization. At first you have to do proper on-page optimization for all inner pages which you have to target. Then start link building with all targeted inner pages. If your site has achieved ranking in main page then google will automatically put your inner pages too, but if you want to do some further inner pages seo then do social bookmarking in high PR sites According to me you have to work on all SEO work as you worked on home page.
and give more importance to relevancy of your inner page details. If your page related with particular product then try make link deals with your product relevant pages and do other work also like forum, blogs, classifieds, etc.

There are like 5% of directories that accept deep links and maximum 3.
So my opinion try article submission , blogs, and forum, and of course .edu and .gov
