I have a problem. Please help.I have a website with static html pages, each page having a Page Rank of 4. Also, almost 20 files of my site are listed with Google. For business purposes, I want to convert the entire site into a dynamic site with PHP.Say, my original url was: http://www.domainname.com/what-is-my-name.html (PR=4)The dynamic url: http://www.domainname.com/content.php?pid=7re-write url as http://www.domainname.com/what-is-my-name.htmlWhat I want to know is this:1. Does re-writing url as the existing url affect the present PR of my site?2. What should I do then? Delete the original file? Or disallow all old url at robots.txt file to avoid duplicating content? Thanks.Cheers! If you are using mod_rewrite to make the url's appear exactly the same as when your site used static pages and you are using the same content you should see zero changes in ranking and PR as a result. As far as google (and other SE's) are concered there would have been no change made. They wouldn't even know that you are now using a database or PHP to create the pages.
