I found a site earlier that registered their domain about 20 years. I've always been under the impression that an established site would have a good page rank even if it didn't have the hundreds of backlinks it seems is required today. They have 54 backlinks and most are pointing to the fact that it's one of the oldest registrated domains.symbolics.com = PR0http://www.symbolics.com= PR5The only thing that produces PR is backlinks.I have a domain that has had minimal work on it that's PR4 somehow. It's all about backlinks / keywords.Humm... now this is something. If it is so old then why not having atleast a descent PR.By the way SEO is totally myth and facts. In my opinion (it's all opinion) but a link that sends traffic to a site is a quality link! End of story! Not talking about a spammy "Click here to win" sort of thing but Keywords and gets clicked! One of my latest sites is 2 weeks old. It is very niche and there are 6 other sites I am competing with. It hasn't been indexed yet and so far I have 3 sites linking to it - no backlinks registered by G. I'm still heavy in the Sandbox! There are NOT 100 sites in the same niche as me! Are you trying to tell me that if I don't get those 6 other sites (My competitors) to link to me I have no chance?Any ideas?
