I am having trouble with select boxes breaking through my dropdown menus. This does not happen with radiobuttons, checkboxes or tables. Is there a good work around or another type of menu system with will dropdown over select boxes?<!--content-->Can we have a URL or some code?<!--content-->you will never go over that select box. the select box is a windowed-element. meaning it sits higher than any other element on the page. that is why z-index will not work on select boxes.<br />

the work around is to make the select box sit inside a div tag and when the menu goes over it you need to hide the div containing the select box. no other possible way.<!--content-->I was afraid of that. I am doing the hiding of the select box at present. I was hoping that there might be some other way such as using a table and getting the scroll bar to look more like a dropdown arrow.<!--content-->
