Seeksadmin.com looks down/compromised.Yes. I'm fed up with their service. I use them for monitoring, yet they're down half the time themselves.Exactly a week ago this happened:Our monitoring system is down since 4 hours due to hardware issue. Data center team is working on it and you'll be online within next 1 hour. As soon it will be online we will update you.Looks like they've been hacked.Seems like it was coincidental, not hacked bu just down due to hardware. They are back up now, help desk was down until their site came back up. Downtime was fairly minimal (within 99.0%) and someone from Seeksadmin contacted me regarding the issue promply which is good incident control. Our server had a small issue with the main hardrive on the server. This was quickly mitigated thanks to the great support over at Softlayer and the downtime after the issue had been spotted was only 20 mins however before this period there was intermittent downtime. During this time the helpdesk and website was down for intermittent periods and we do apologise for this. As for the monitoring, our monitoring server is on a different machine and as such that should not have been effected. Zymic if you wish to discuss the issue in more details please do open a ticket in the feedback department.Once again I apologise for the downtime and any delay in answering ticketsOur experience with SeeksAdmin has been spotty but acceptabble. However, I agree that they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth recently (3/14/08 on).
They have ironed out problems for us. They have also managed to completely confuse other tasks. I gather English is a second language for the folks doing the work so you've got to take a bit of extra care when framing the problem.
That said, they've been honorable, have taken the initiative to fix problems they spotted and have reasonable terms of service (one clown show is so over-the-top that they charge US$200 should you contest *any* charge they deem necessary to make -- whether justified or not!). SeeksAdmin has been good enough that we've used them on multiple occasions.
We requested a 6 month quote to straighten out a troublesome GNAX dedicated that crashes every week. All we got back was a trouble ticket link and password that's not valid. We haven't been trying very hard, but there's been no communication for about four days (including a weekend).
Aza D. ObermanHello Aza,I did not see any ticket. We are having a few problems at the moment with our helpdesk so I am talking to Kayako about that as we speak. However in the mean time can you PM me what you need and I can sort that straight away. I do apologise for the issuesYeah, it looks like the ticket system burped. No big deal but you had me worried there.
I need to track down the program manager and find out what he want's me to do. I'll let you know (privately).

we had given the same view about this company before some months in this same forum but at that time almost every one supported them and wrote against our thread, but its true they are operating with semi professionals from India who did the RHCE or some certification and have a internet connection at home, we had given our servers, and finally ended up in a big mess owing to their work at our servers.
Finally we had opted for other company, immediately this guys did all kind of nonsense at our servers which i dont want to open up here.
Any how good luck to all those who still supports seeksadmin.com and their CEO, god bless them
