Hello,

Any one here with seeks admin newly ?

We took a base admin pack with them and we are in a situation here.

The setup is going on for two days and nothing happened till now .

Any one with seeks admin to share views?

Lieing: When the client initially posted this I contacted him as I suspected it was him who posted due to his previous post about VPN and that being the only VPN ticket for the day. However he denied posting this message, and this stopped me from helping him2. Multiple Tickets: Every day we recieved multiple tickets from him asking for an update, while we were waiting for him to do something, and hence we could do nothing while we were waiting for him3. Communication: On many tickets the client posted in confusing English. I mean some of my techs I know do not have the best English, but I couldn't even understand what the client was trying to get at and it sometimes took 5 or 6 emails to understand what was going on4.DNS Provider: We provided Evidence to say that we had setup domainkeys with sendmail (eg ps aux | grep mail and finding the domain key details) and then a link with evidence that we had set it up correct and in fact it was his DNS provider's issue as they allowed a maximum of 300 characters, when domain keys 512 characters. We tried to get past this, but we couldn't and the client did not understand this.The claims of not excepting non-US citizens or UK citizens is a lie as we have many people globally from places such as Egypt, India, Pakistan, all over Europe and other places. However we do require that our staff can understand posts, otherwise we can not do much. I stand by my staff, we have clocked over 50 hours working for the client, and never recieved any thanks only abuseDue to constance Abuse and rudeness to our staff as well as continous complaining about things that were not our fault we terminated service with the client earlier today, because I will not take abuse towards my staff. Very Rarely Roflmao :blush: /Bunny still remembers the downtime caused by Seeksadmin and not so educated server admin.So with this to have seeksadmin.com as your company you have to be1) From US or having strong english ( hopefully strong written and you should get a reply from them that they understood your english )2) you should be ready to have head ache.3) you should award them or write mail stating that the work is good .I had lost my 12 days of time with this guys and now they say they had worked for 50 hours we had lost more than $3500 wasting our server with them.Any one can go with them if they have bad timeThanks Mr.Bunny we had also lost this many days of downtime we are unable to use the server, their rude staff ( they told i am rude ) i never did it and if any my apologies personally to Mr Tris.Well im really happy with seeksadmin and havent had any problems since i signed up around a year ago.Not sure why you are having probs but i hope you solve them, these are really good techs imo.Ok i think you should heear a story from a very 100% satified customer of seeks admin..
I have been with these guys for around 16 months now if i have had any problems normally down to my own fault these guys have within the 24 hour time frame have helped or sorted out the probelm for me..
when i first started with these guys i wasnt sure how things worked in fact i didnt read the email properly as all i wanted was my new toy i didnt get it due to me
not reading the email
when i sent a ticket i had a resp0nse within an hour and i was told exactly what to do..
Once i sent a ticket with all info these guys needed i had my vps up and running within 4 hours or so....
Not being nasty here but Make sure you read your emails these guys send as yu will find it will delay your package being setup...
i assure you Seeksadmin have been 100% helpfull and have never let me down...
So please before putting any company down make sure that
1. You have read your emails 100% and followed any actions required of you
2.dont blame anyone for YOUR email program sending mail to junk folder its not their fault its YOUR settings
3.make sure that when they ask you for details so they can help you that you give it to them rather than just not answering.....
And 1 rule you must always rember is
help those and be helped
If you dont help seeksadmin by giving the details they want how can they help you

Oh i think you are in totally wrong location for your review, try webhosting section to post ur review on the "HOSTING" part of companyI'm perfectly happy with SeeksAdmin. Asif is also a very competent tech. And I must say, I've struggled to understand what chennaitechguy has posted in this thread. If I composed tickets with such broken English I'd forgive the tech for perhaps misunderstanding it. I fully respect and appreciate not everyone's first language is English of course. TomHello, I am a user of seeksadmin.com ... before them i was using services from many companyes and i can guarantee that seeksadmin are one of the best. Everything i need i just ask and they do it... even if it is some stupid thing or even if it was done already few times.. they do it.... They are fixing problems in mater of few minutes... when i put 911 (emergency) ticket they respond in aprox 5 - 10 min. on normal ticket they respond aprox 10-30min .... I am very happy with their services and i would recommend it to every one without any problems. We have 2 servers in USA,and now we are getting 2 servers in EU that will also be managed by seeksadmin.com Thank you seeksadmin Team! :)For the record, I have been with SeeksAdmin for nearly a year and have had no troubles with them. They provide a great service for a great price.I'm not sure what problem the OP had beyond DNS issues, but it's pretty clear if his 3rd party DNS provider will only allow 300 characters in a TXT record, Domainkeys is not going to work right, period.I also had a problem following the OP's broken English - I'm sure this compounded the problem.Perhaps the only fault of SeeksAdmin that I can see is not canceling the OP's account earlier?I think we have something to add to this.In the OP's defense, domainkeys were not installed correctly, the filter may have been running but it was not inserted into the sendmail configuration neither was it setup for the correct domain (it was listening for example.com, like you'd find in some guide). We were the ones that installed it correctly and made it read his sendmail virtual domains table.He also did have the 300 character length error (that's because of his dns provider, nothing to do with the installation) and that's as far as his ticket with us has went, he is now ignoring it (he also ignored my PM's here, but he couldn't respond now if he wanted to as he is now banned). So at present he still owes us for the hour of work that was completed.we are also one of unlucky customer with seeksadmin company.The mixed review is right and this company guys are really not good in managing servers.Why there is a fight like conversation going on here, its left to individual decision to choose seeksadmin or not.is it mandatory to have great english to have seeksadmin, then they should cater only to US market and not to Asian market, they should have technicians who can understand all sort of mails, if not send them to read. Hope english wont be a problem for managing serversI've been with Seeksadmin some months ago (I leaved because of having my own management team in-office). I was happy with them.From what OP posted since now, I think Seeksadmin has the correct side of the story. The OP doesn't even read the emails, posts, or reads but doesn't understand. Then he blames Seeksadmin for now doing what he wanted.TRIS and his staff are awesome and do great jobs... I've use them by the past and recently, his help me from SL's forums...

I asked if I could have just the one tech have access to my server, both my partner and my request, and I believe it was Tris himself that set my server up and did some work on it.

I will be going back to Tris soon to get some more admin work done, can I message you about this Tris?

Pauli agree but its not a reason to cancel one persons account who paid for the service.When u get money from them you should have checked their knowledge or other important issues ( as per your need).We also had suffered by this seeksadmin.com they totally outsource to India ( we think they do by freelancers ) are you sure that all freelancers have strong knowledge and they work for what they are paid?This seeksadmin and other companies should check how good companies make their business by making customers happy ( ex. tweakservers.com)I was with them before. They broke one of my server ssh and AdminGeekz fixed it after them. My server was hacked 3 times when i was with them, every time they said they secured it and that was the last time :)I can say from a very extensive personal experience that seeksadmin has helped me a great deal, and never charged me one dime. However, I felt it was the right thing to do, and sent them what I could afford, but that was only once, and because I felt bad for getting free help and work. They never asked me to do this, but I did it because it was the right thing to do. Never mind the fact that Tris from seeksadmin continues to help me for free with anything and everything I need. I honestly believe all the above claims are false at best. Seeksadmin has had root to my servers for a long time, and never once did any issues occur. In fact they helped me figure out a compromise for FREE.

I think it's 100% ridiculous that people continue to bash good businesses especially when they go above and beyond what their asked to do.I too did received from time to time free service from TRIS ( from SL's forums )... I will say, if I'm in need for a management I will surelly ask him to do it for me... :agree:
