I'm trying to make a website that will search multiple other sites and then display the results on my website (a mixture of the results gained from the other websites)... I have always been led to believe that this is called web services but for web services to work doesn't the other website have to be set up to "give out" webservices.... Here is an example of a site that does that same thing that I want to do, only searching differn't stuff...

this website searches about 100 other sites and then shows the results on their website all mixed together.
How do they do that, you don't need to be specific, just point me in the right direction....
