How many time submit a website one search engine?
(eg: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl) You don't need to submit your website to any search engine.
Just build good backlinks, the search engines will automatically index it. When i first launch a website i will submit it to google, bing, yahoo and then start link building. The other search engines out there all over the world will eventually pick up my site anyway's. Just create content for your site, write articles...etc
If you build it, they will come. Just have patience for the bots to stop by. Let Google find you by optimizing your site. So you need to create a good content and followed by off page optimization. as everyone mentioned you dont need it, focus on building links and all the spiders will follow your site. Link Building with quality backlinks is amongst many important aspects considered by search engines, while determining the rankings of a site. Submitting to a website to a search engine is an optional thing you can do because as people says here you don't have to submit it, they will find you specially if you optimized your site well and follow the everything in SEO there's nothing to worry about being index or crawled. I Just Submit My Site in only Google. I do not submit my site in other search engine than i start the Link Building. My site is now visible in yahoo, bing and other search engine. i think without submission of site on search engine it will be appear on all search engine but i will take time. Search engines crawl new site automatically, but there is no harm for your site submission to search engines. As you submit your site in search engines the chances of your site crawling by search engine becomes more rapidly.. How many time submit a website one search engine? That is not require just submit your website in all search engine and it is better for your site. I submit newly established websites to Google, Yahoo and Bing. True, search engines will discover your site sooner or later through link building but this will take time, unless you can acquire a link from a high PR site (high PR sites are frequently crawled by Google).
Submitting your site to SEs' is very easy and it won't take much of your time. Why wait to be discovered if you can introduce your site to SEs for fast indexing. Just sharing my opinion
