I found some great stuff in here on scroll bars but not what I'm looking for.
Does anyone know how to make a scroll bar wider? I'm using css.
Thanks.genearlly, don't try to mess with people's scrollbars. real browsesr (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/">http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/</a><!-- m -->) won't let you do it anywaysI understand your concern.
However, this is a kiosk system that will be run strictly in IE and will be accessed via touch screen. So I really need to make the default scroll bar size larger.CSS cannot change the width of a scrollbar nor can JavaScript since it is a OS-level piece of the UI. Moreover, this seems like something that would be controlled via the user's browser settings.You're right. That's it and exactly what I needed. I set my scroll bar size to 21 and that did the trick. Thanks for your help.No problem whatsoever; glad everything worked out.
