It's not web-related, I know, but I'm hoping someone can help...

First, you have to understand that if someone asks if I can do such and such, I always say 'Yes'.

Then I Google for it...

Well, this time I've gone and done it. I'm in over my head, and really need help with a business card that I've put together in Adobe Illustrator. The printers keep returning my pdf because it's not showing crop and bleed marks. Now, I know how to do that - you just put ticks in the right boxes in Acrobat. But my file shows neither, and I'm tearing my hair out going through all the settings to see what's amiss.

I've attached two files - what the printers want (printer.pdf) and what Acrobat keeps giving me.

The file that they sent me (printer.pdf) is my original file which they amended, but since then the information style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
Illustrator 10 won't save the crop marks in PDF.
Did you ever solve the issue, or find an option that enabled crop marks?
Cheers,
Clay
