Rogue Code, Changing Programs

Hi, I own a program that is fairly well respected among those in the online shopping world. It is called shopfactory. It is essentially a wizard style program that aids in building an online store complete with a chopping basket. Anyway, here is my trouble. I would like to build the entire site within the wizards alloted but, occasioanally I need to add a table or want to align some pictures, use spellcheck etc and the program (shopfactory) doesn't allow this. It will however let me at the code via a code view option. I have found that when I go into (Don't kill me people) Netscape Composer... I can make the changes I need, add the table etc, that when I do this and then go to paste the info into my shopfactory wizard, it always seems to throw a curve ball at me. Alignment, font color, bold, SOMETHING. Why is this? Isn't html, HTML? Why does it end up formatting things screwy? Also, I tried the same thing by going into msword and it too creates proplem upon re-importing the info. Does errant code stick in and stay stuck from one program to the next. Any thoughts on a better method? I don;t know html. I dam able to do some troubleshooting but that is the extent of my knowledge. NOTE: WORD PAD won't allow me the opportunity to do things without knowing code??<br />

Thanks for the time to respond in advance.<!--content-->I'm afraid that's just the way of the domain-specific content management system beast.<!--content-->
