Revert back the deafult template

i need some help here, actually i had made major changes in my "default template" instead of the style. i changed all the CSS codes, but when now i install a new style, all the template is messed, cause i have made changes to the default templates.

so i just want to know how can i revert the "Default Template" and all its Css codes back to the default or original state.

By "default template" you mean the main .xml file correct...?

Download the same copy of vb your running and upload the install/ folder, delete the install.php file and run the upgrade.php file

yoursite.com/install/upgrade.php

that should overwrite all your edits and leave you with a clean default style once again....

yup hoxxy thanks, but i don't want my other styles to be removed or else. i mean if i do this would i get a new site with only default template or my styles will be safe and only deafult will be reverted.
 
thanks for the attachement, i have imported that in my default template but the thing is that still it isn't back to the initial stage as the i can still see the customized colors on my default template. any idea?
