Restricting downloads

This is probably very basic, but I'm missing it somehow.

My forum is mostly discussion based, but on request I've decided to implement downloading of attachments. The problem I'm having is that even though I have turned off downloading of attachments in the Not Logged In (guest) usergroup, guests can still download attachments. Is there some other permission I'm missing somewhere?

EDIT: Got this sorted, but another question - is there a mod that can make attachments only viewable to certain user groups? Something that hides the attachments like the hide hack?

Just set certain usergroup permissions to not allow d/l like you did with Guests.

Got that handled, but what I was wondering is if there is a mod that makes the attachment titles and file types hidden or cloaked to certain user groups.
