Hi I'm just starting to make web pages.. Im using dreamweaver mx and have a thumbnail on my page that is linked to the bigger image.

I was wonder how you can size the browser so that when you click on the thumbnail the new browser opens up with the exact size of the larger image.

thanksSee http://gil.davis.home.att.net/openit_example.htm for an example. Thanks Gil

I have another question : is there a way I can remove the interim window that pops up before the large image does ? for example when you click on the thumbnail 2 small beige windows pop up and close after the large image appears.

thanks again for all your help.

warhemHow about if you tried this link?.....

so I tried what gil suggested(thanks gil) and these two unwanted windows appeared
so then I tried what gil suggested and put the script in the head section. so now it just opens a browser with the image but not the right size.

here's what im looking at .. click on the link in the body of the page
What browser?
so now it just opens a browser with the image but not the right size ... click on the link in the body of the pageI wasn't sure what to click on. I clicked on the picture, and I looked at your source, and didn't see anything like my script. I assume you are trying to roll your own or something. Make a simple example to perfect the technique before you add the other stuff. That way it is easier to see what it will take to help you.
