is there a way of resizing images that preserves the quality of the image pretty well? i used Image.GetThumbnailImage to minimally shrink this image: "http://gallery.consumerreview.com/pcphoto/photos/48668.jpg" unfortunately, this was the result: "http://gallery.consumerreview.com/pcphoto/480/48668.jpg". as you can see, the image is just a tiny bit smaller, but image quality is awful!!! any ideas??AFAIK the only way to do this properly is in a graphics program.<BR><BR>Open up something like Corel or Photoshop and save this file as a optimised Gif and it will be a lot smaller.<BR><BR>HTHI think there is a 3rd party component called AspJpeg that could help out in this instance.
