Is there a way to reset the board to factory defaults? Someone was changing things that shouldnt have been and now I cant figure out what he did.
What board is it you are trying to reset? It's not very nice to assume "one of the admins must of hit something"... there are probably many explanations for what is hindering you. In any regards, we would need more information to be able to answer your question.

Ah, ok. Sorry I misunderstood what ya meant. I'm not much on invision boards so I'll let someone else who knows what they are talking about answer the specific question.
I've never dealt with IPB best bet would be to start over fresh. If this was phpBB2 I could've helped more because I have more experience using it.
If you have any posts or members that you have to keep,
goto cpanel > backup
and click on
Download a MySQL Database Backup
click on the database, probably called invision or ivbd?

Then in cpanel > scripts library > InvisionBoard

look at
Remove an existing Installation
select and remove

Then re-install
and back to backup > Restore a MySQL Database
browse to the database you downloaded,
and you are set.
If by reset you mean start over. You could delete the entire folder where the forum is installed. And then delete the database the forum uses.

Now you would be back to square one.

Moving for organization.
I merged these two posts. Please do not double post, we read every thread posted.

Also, please try to start a post in it's appropriate forum. Thank you.
Another idea would be to go to Invision's site and post on their boards.
