That hack in the link you've provided is very very old.
I am not uploading that one, but I have uploaded Members Online Today for 3.6 and new one for 3.7
They do the same thing, and I hope this helps you.
If you have a very old board, these hacks will not work in it. If your board is really that old I suggest you go download a new release from one of the releases threads here.

. I will leave the hacks attached in my post in case pooffck is running a newer board anyways.
