[REQ]Alert about another post made during your reply

hello everybody at this great forum , which I find very usefull...


I have a problem at my forum, at some topics it is important to the user (member) to reply at the last post.

but because the topic is active, many users attemp to reply at the same time

so by the time A user finishes writing his reply and posts it, he finds out that another post was made while he was writing his post


I tried searching the web for a product/mod to solve this problem with no luck



so if anyone knows how to resolve this, please help me
 
what needs to be done is :
1_check the last post id
2_before posting the new reply check if there is a new post , if so show a message that "a new post was made - redirecting you to edit your reply".
3_ redirect the users to edit his reply while reviewing the thread(to see the new post)
4_post again if theres no new reply.


I know what needs to be done , but unforturnally I dont know how to write a product for vBulletin and I dont know anything about ajax

please, if any one have a good experience in writing products for vbulletin, just show me the way, and I'll go from there.

or if there is a products that is close to the functionality of my request , tell me about it, so I'll modify it to fit my mod...
