renew .info on godaddy question

guys.. i bought a .info domain at godaddy for 1 year. Omg now i then notice that second year cost 9.90?! anyway to make it cost lesser? =x. If i let my domain expire.. i re make will it cost 0.99?

Doubtful. A registrar will usually hang on to a domain for a few months to see if anyone BESIDES the previous owner wants to pick it up. If not, then they let it go. When they let it go after a few months, then you can probably pick it up again for 0.99 again, but by that time your users will assume you're gone for good. Is it worth it?
