Remove Background of the forum from banner

Hello everyone.So I started customising a theme and I want to remove background of my forum from the header(not to make it trasplanted)

So I want to remove the "Forum Background" from the banner but not from the rest forum.Any suggestion how to do that?
I use the blacksteream theme and running on Vb3.8.2

design and put your banner with forum background using photoshop then add a layer

You should check you MainCSS to see what is going on there. Sometimes they use a background image and sometime just a color code, sometimes both. In any event, I think the top box contains the background info that you can change to what ever you want. If I am understanding your requirement, that is where you need to go ...

OK the deal is that I can change the color of the background from the mainCSS>>Page Background>>Background.
I don't want to change the color.I just want to make the banner independent from this background.Can I make a custom template or something like that and make the banner independent from the skin?I really don't know a thing :/

make a new banner same size and use it...the background should not show through.
