Hi,

I want to change the text that is displayed on the terms and conditions page when a member registers. I have trailed through several files and have found nothing and I am wondering whether anybody here knows how I can,

You have to edit the relevant Phrases

Theese are some of these Phrases:

[forum_rules_registration]
[forum_rules_description]

Thanks do you know what file they might be in?

Copy some of the text on register page then search for it in:

Admincp >> Languages & Phrases >> Search in Phrases

not Files .. Phrases.. i actualy show you the phrase wich includes the text and you can directly edit it..

The file that contains the phrases is /install/vbulletin-language.xml, but once vB is installed, that file is no longer used as the phrases are installed into the database.

Just install cyb advanced forum rules, and you can set it to diaplay your custom rules on that page instead of VBulletins default nonsense.
