Reference: Changing favicon.ico

if you have made the favicon.ico
and its in your forums root directory.
then simply refresh your page, and it should come up

make sure that it is properly saved as favicon.ico and the best way todo that is to go to the favicon generator i gave you in previous thread
 
Yes... If you have changed the image but it's still showing the old one, just clear your cache and maybe even reboot your PC.

This had me puzzled a few years back too.
 
Sorry guy,

  1. I thought that it worked, as it did for few minutes!(Didnt work on explorer)
  2. I restarted by Pc and then again it was gone.
  3. I cleared all of my cache and cookies and all but again the same problem.

NOW WAT DA HELL SHOULD I DO???

dw dude, if its in your forums root, and other people see it. if you dont just wait it out.
trust me. the favicon is there and will work
