hi i think this will be a hit or miss lol

is there away at all that if someone posts a website link to my forum that if a member then clicks on that link befor it takes them to the link posted that it wud tell them that there bein redirted away from the site or somthign like that Thanks

yeah there is, i dont think the mod is custom built just to show a countdown, i think its part of a redirection mod or vbanonymizer or something. Maybe even the mod that is for local links same window, cant remember but try searching for a few you will find it.

Once a link is clicked, you will be directed to a templated screen telling you are about to leave the site with a countdown. Local links, count down, phrases, everything customisable.

Great hack, use it on all the vB forums I host/run... It doesn't take you to anon.to first either, it uses a meta refresh which strips referral data out of the headers, so your redirect can stay "in-house" and not reliant on other sites.
