redirecting xml parser to use a local DTD instead of the one

Does anyone know how to set the SAX Parser to look at a local DTD insteadof the one listed in the xml document itself? I wish to speed up the parsingby having the parser use a local copy of the DTD. Not only will it speedup the parsing, but also will increase the reliability of having a DTD toparse and validate against. Since the site could go down at any given moment.I have looked at the sun site and they mentioned an EntityResolver, but theydid not give a good example.Thanx for any replysFrank
