I suspect the answer is negative but has anyone ever seen Safari run on Linux (or even Windows)?

I know how to run Windows software on Linux, and I know Safari is based in part on Koqueror. So I was hoping.

Am I just dreaming...?No. Safari is MacOS X only.

What features from Safari do you want that are different in Konqueror?I just wanted the ability to test in Safari. I use Linux and Windows so I currently test in Firefox, Opera, IE, Konqueror, and NetscapeFor equivalent versions of the KHTML and WebCore engines, Safari should render the same as Konqueror.

I'm curious, which versions of those Windows and Linux browser do you test in?So many browsers, so little time.

ThanksBuy a Mac Mini... Safari, Camino, Shira and Firefox /Mac testing platform right there!

Alternatively you can *cough* emulate *cough* a Macintosh with PearPC. In fact, OSX now runs natively on some x86 hardware! Unfortunately not legally.Buy a Mac Mini... Safari, Camino, Shira and Firefox /Mac testing platform right there!

I would never do something illegal. **fiendishly wringing hands as beady eyes dart about**

ThanksIs it really that hard to answer my question? I really would like to know the answer.
