Hi folks
A friend and I are considering moving our domains to a new dedicated and managed box and we'd like some help in choosing a provider. We've been looking at LiquidWeb and DedicatedNow but aren't thoroughly satisfied with either - LiquidWeb doesn't allow proxies in any form, I use a proxy several times a day and this was a deal breaker. With DedicatedNow, they seem to be a great host with great people but their recent spate of outages as us a little concerned.
Our budget is about $200 / mo and we're looking for a managed host that also gives us root access (as contradictory as that may sound , allows us to host a proxy script (such as CGI:roxy) and provides cPanel/WHM.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Sorry, I didn't post the type of specs we've been looking at/for. Both Liquidweb and DedicatedNow offered something like the following which when coupled with management and cPanel fitted perfectly into our budget4 3Ghz HT120GB 7200RPM HD1GB RAM
