I am working on a very large theme based reciprocal linking project. I have always kept these types of reciprocal links very related to the site they are dealing with. I personally cannot stand disorganized link pages that jump all over the place with related and non-related links on a themed site.I believed that keeping your links pages organized and on topic would help you more in the long run.On this project, results are wanted in the search engines ASAP, and there is another individual working as well. He is creating reciprocal links with totally unrelated sites within our directory; these are PR5+ on the home page with PR1+ on the link page. Are these links really helping that much since they are so far off topic and reciprocal? Personally I would rather settle for all related sites even if the PR is not as good. We are going to end up with 1,000s of exchanged links, and I really don't want to waste the space on non-related sites if they are not beneficial. What do you all think? I am really stuck on this, am I being just too picky and holding up the project? Or in the long run keeping everything tight and related will get the results we want.Just so you know these is other types of linking going on, it's just this reciprocal part that is getting me.Thanks ahead for your advice and opinions,Tstick to related linksThanks! I felt that was the way to go, but didn't want to be some control freak!in the long run it will be worth it my friend..Yes non-related links cant make much difference to your sites rankings.Akash
