Reading operating system files

Hi allI have to merge a bunch of xml files into a single XML file.Is there a utility to do this. Is there something equivalent to Filesystemobjectsin VB so that we can loop through a bunch of files and read their content.I am very new to XML, so I appologize asking such a basic question
