Read value of special tab from xml by using excel vba

I have one file which exported from datastage, the file with .xml format. I would like to pase the file and get Job Name, Parameter from the .xml file. I can import the xml file to excel 2007, and can get the result after some filters. But I would to create a tool by using excel vba to get the values and generate the values into a new sheet. I have no experience on xml, but have some knowledge on VBA, any one can provide me a sample of how to read xml by using excel vba? and what is the menthod or function to get value of special tab?
