My Domain is .com TLD but it ranks low on google.com compared with .co.in may i know the reason, My website is Ad-network so content rich stuff not required here.
If i am doing any thing wrong are do i need to do any thing else to rank good on .com?

- If your website is geographically targeted (India) ad-network then you can earn more revenue. Anyway if you are targeting .com results then you should strive hard in link building campaign. you have to campare these sites backlinks, a guess .co.in site has more good quality backlinks Don't worry,it's normal,you just go on to do your seo job Also check that you have not set the region to india in your webmasters tool provided by google. If your country is set to india it will be targeted to india only. Also try building links from sites outside of india. I mean to say sites which are not targeted to indian people only. Your site at this point gives signals to Google through your site's content, your backlink profile, etc. as a website relevant for Indian visitors. Analyze if this is the case and reduce these signals and increase the ones for your target region. dude why do you need .com ? everybody uses .ro (or what country they live in) . 99 % doesn't now how to swich to .com. And from how i know Google redirects you to your country google page . So i think you have no problem

example: VietNam is vn => The best choose is .vn or com.vn. Try to use google.com/ncr when looking for sites to post on comments to redirect you to google local. If your site .com has been hosted in India, google considers that your site is located in India and concerns mainly people in India.
If the American market is more important for you than the Indian market, you have to host your site in the USA or simply to select USA in your google webmaster account. Then your site will rank better in google.com than in google.co.in

BTW such a change is not possible if your site is .co.in Hosting in the India is pretty much the reason why you are more prominent in the India search engine. You might be able to rectify it by going into webmaster tools and telling google where you want to appear which is usa (if you have not already)
You could also move your hosting to the usa. In addition to server location ( which i think is not very important ) The main reason is backlinks of these two websites. I am sure that .co.in domain has more powerful backlinks than your .com domain. If you work more and better for your website, you can rank higher than it.
