Quick reply duplicating posts

Hi guys.

I have a problem with my forum since I started using 3.8.0

Some members keep having duplicate posts made, but it's only certain members an it only happens when they use the 'Quick reply'.

I have disabled quick reply until I can find a fix for the problem, but I would really like to see it back, as would my members.

The effected members are using different operating systems/ browsers, browser versions etc, so the problem MUST be in the quick reply script itself.

Any suggestions?

its usually a sloow down of ajax.. then it post it without realising then posts it again..

i sugggest getting a new server. something thats faster..

I've been on the same servers for about 3 years with no problems, so very much doubt this is the case.

Well- I have GreenFox and BlueFox, and both of them are doing it.

I will maybe add another style and let users test it for me.

Thanks, but I don't really want to update to 3.8.1 as I'd need to do all of my template edits again (im assuming?).

Would it be possible just to overwrite my current quickreply.php file with the quickreply.php file from 3.8.1 (If such file even exists)?

Or is there more to it than that?
