I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to take a picture with say four people in it and hook up a different link to each persons face? I have no idea how to do this or even what it is called. Can anyone help?
Sorry if this is not the right area to post this in.Hi Ladd,

What you refer to is an image map.

Here is a tutorial for you:
You can achieve this effect trhough most graphics packages these days quite simply. Notable ones are Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia's Fireworks. I think also that Paintshop Pro allows you to do this although I don't use it myself so I can't confirm it.

You may find that this gets moved to the Graphic Design and Clipart forum (http://www.htmlforums.com/forumdisplay. ... forumid=13) although I think it could probably reside here as well.image mapping is a HTML thing, and can be done in most WYSIWYG editors also. Which do you use?Sweet, thanx Torrent for digging up that tutorial for me!
