Have you ever done the following:
Purchased a .com and .co.uk or equivalent to target the same niche because the name is available in both, with the intention of being able to target a worldwide audience with the .com and the benefit of catering to the UK audience specifically with the .co.uk too?
You may have done it with a different extension (for your country) but id like to know if you have done this too please.
Im aware i could just setup subdomains to target specific countries, but im more interested in doing it like above.
I think ive seen decent sized companies doing this where they maybe target say US, UK, Canada, Australia, that sort of approach.
Im thinking .com and .co.uk specifically though.
Id be happy to read your opinions, especially if you do this already.
