Q: Smilies

hello guys, there is a serious porblem with the smilies on my board. The gif smilies aren´t moveable on theards. what belongs that to?
Somebody help me please!
 
they are moveable from ad-cp in Generic Smilies, also they are moveable making a theared but puting on theared they just still silent. strange for me.. I previewd theme moveing but i posted em they just still silent. :-(
 
i don´t understand why should i host wouldn´t allow the extension you talking.
isnt there any ather way??

somebody help me please!!!!
 
I had a similar problem..I'm sure it's down to what broswer your using..Try a different browser..

did you give 777 permission to smilies folder? if not, then try giving permission as 777 and see if it works for you or not.

I tried at this time, but still the same.
 
No it dosent work I tried on other skin but nothing is happend.
I don´t know its just me or soem others have the same problem.
 
i also have problem with animated smilies, but it stops only when i click on other smilies, but after posting in thread it does work, did you install any such smilies mod that have clashed with animated smilies?

I remember I tried once to install ms_mysmiliesvb, that could be the reason. I think I should ckeck that hack.

Watermark Images Posted In Threads this hack is known and found that this is the reason which blocks the images, and i´m not sure what to do. :-(

At the moment i´v uninstalled the hack, which is now working perfect on other hand i need that hack too.

Really? If you think thats the reason and you have uninstalled it, then its great that its working for you now, however if you want that mod for your site, then you have to compromise somewhere or the other, either let animated smilies will stop working and you can proceed further with such smilies or else if you want smilies to be animated then its better not to use that watermark images.
 
hi, thank you.

At the moment I´m not using that hack, but I like to have it.. if someone will the fix the xml file for me would be nice. I want someone fix to not watermark gif and PNG files, that will let allow the smily working on boards.

please somebody do it!!!
