Purchasing Domain name in clients name

Hi,

I have a client who wishes me to buy her domain name for her when it has expired from its previous owner, and she wants me to buy it in her name. I'm fairly sure there is nothing wrong with that but I couldn't find anywhere that states that this is possible, so does anyone know whether it is?

Also, the domain she wants expired from the previous owner about two weeks ago. It is a .co.uk domain. Does anyone know how long after the expiration date it will be before I can buy the domain?

Any help would be rgeatly appreciated.
