Pull down menu - insert a line or blank

Hi, I've got a pull-down menu that's split into 3 different areas ... and I'm wondering if there's a way that you can divide the options with a line, or a blank line that can't be selected.<br />

Originally I was going to use (eg)<br />

<option value=1>One</option><br />
<option value=2>Two</option><br />
<option value=0 DISABLED>-------</option><br />
<option value=3>Three</option><br />
<option value=4>Four</option><br />
<option value=5>Five</option><br />
<option value=6>Six</option><br />
<br />
but you can still select it ... <br />
