Problems with mpegs

I built a site for a friend and it's stopped working properly. For the first few months it was fine but recently 2 things have happened.<br /><br />1. The mpegs><img src='http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_images/1/post_snapback.gif' alt='*' border='0' /></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Hi Thomas ...<br /><br />So you can open the Mpegs and the site views ok...? That is strange ... I use IE7 and although the site still views fine I can't open the Mpegs. I could the other month.
