I have quite recently started a re-design of my site.
My site: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://members.0web.uni.cc/sftrprod/">http://members.0web.uni.cc/sftrprod/</a><!-- m -->
The CSS file: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://members.0web.uni.cc/sftrprod/Styles.css">http://members.0web.uni.cc/sftrprod/Styles.css</a><!-- m -->
Ok, if you are using IE then you may have noticed the problem, as this problem only happens in IE (Well, it works in FF but I'm not sure about others). For some reason the sub-menu column down the left hand side is too big in IE. It is as though IE ignores the width property I have set to the cells in the CSS file. As I said, this works in FF, and I know IE isn't very compatible with CSS.
Does anybody know how I can fix this without adding a browser check?
Thank you very much,
SFTRFix the HTML first.
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//members.0web.uni.cc/sftrprod/">http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1 ... /sftrprod/</a><!-- m -->
Of course I have to recommend you drop the table layout and do it right in the first place.
