problem with display web form controls...please he

When I put web form controls on my page in .NET and hit debug, it tells me that Either ATL server or server extentions are not properly installed, I have cheked them the server extentions are installed but I dont know about the ATL server thing. <BR> The web control that I put on my page does not show.....appreciate any help....thanx
