I have a pretty popular site, ranked 300,000 on Alexa which had a pagerank of 3 on all pages.
Unfortunately last month my pagerank dropped to 0. I am still in the index and Googlebot still visits my site (last visit 16 September).
Thing is I am starting to get quite concerned and want to get my pagerank back. I believe the reason I was zero'd is because of crosslinking between sites, so of course these links have been removed.
I have some questions:
1. What is the quickest/ best way to get pagerank again?
2. How does Google determine a duplicate page? Is it due to a certain percentage of similar or same content or is it information contained in the header?
3. How much difference does pagerank actually make? i've gone from PR3 to PR0 and can see very little difference in traffic.
