postbit??

As I said b4 im a noob to all this. Is postbit the bar at the top of each post with the users location and avatar? im trying to go from horizontal to vertical on teh left.

If it IS called postbit then, I have gone from postbit to postbit legact and back again and it still shows horizontal. Ive followed the instructions on 2 threads and still I cant get it.... im confuzed :(

Help for a noob will be very much appreciated

If you've already tried legacy and it didn't work, I'll make an assumption that it may be your skin that's preventing you from using legacy. Try changing to legacy and look at your forum with your default skin. If you see the legacy postbit with the default skin and not your chosen skin, it's definitely your skin. With some skins, you must install a certain xml file to get legacy.
 
You're saying when you have legacy turned on using the default skin, it's not showing the postbit on the left? If this is the case, yes, let's have a look. PM your details.
 
So, you're completely default and when you change the style settings to display posts in "Postbit_lagacy" it's doesn't work.

Well, if thats right then there is only two ways to fix it i can currently think of, install a theme like a Fox theme that has a force legacy feature or reinstall you're vBulletin software.
