AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template -> set to Yes and Save.

Please note that if you enable this option and wish to 
customize the template, you should edit the 'postbit_legacy' 
template rather than the 'postbit'.

i tried doing this. but didnt work.
im trying this on Bluefox 3.8.2 Theme.
vB 3.8.2

If I recall correctly, I think Bluefox needs an XML to use legacy.

Err, it does have those weird things where it does the Bluefox#~ or something..

Go to the default vB style, copy the postbit_legacy template, and paste it into the Bluefox postbit template.
