Picture titles?

I have a wordpress blog and I receive a lot of images from people. When I upload them onto my website, I have the option to change the title of the image from it's default one. If I made one of my keywords the title of these images, would that help my SEO, or would doing so be irrelevant to improving SEO? I don't know, but I would proceed with caution when changing titles...

It's their memories, and out of respect I'd think twice about changing "Missing My Darling Wife.jpg" to "visit my blog keywords.jpg" No, I wouldn't change titles like that, but 99% of the titles I get are something like, "5574574375.jpg", so why not? The title attribute has no influence over SEO. It's main use is that they are displayed when you hover over the image, so have them provide something useful to the viewer.

The alt attribute does have some SEO effect, however its main use is for accessibility. It should be used to help people or machines that cannot see the image. e.g. explain what the picture is about.

The others seem to be referring to the name of the image file. If possible, you should have this also reflect what the image contains, while trying to
