Recently we've begun building a website and it comes with the capability of a forum.
....allows you to install a pre-made forum called phpBB. The phpBB is a PHP web-based bulletin board. Unlike an e-mail list or newsgroup, the phpBB creates a forum on your web site that allows users to post questions and receive replies, all from their web browser. This allows you to choose from a variety of graphical interfaces and smilies - little faces that communicate the mood of the writer . Once a forum has been created you can modify it extensively, from adding new sub-forums to changing the visual appearance of the board. I Download ed the phpbb files but alas no success, I am thinking I need do something else as well. Can anyone help me? I am in serious need of lessons over here

SabisWhat, exactly, is not working? Is it not showing up at all? Are you getting error messages when trying to open it?go to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.w3schools.comI'm">www.w3schools.comI'm</a><!-- w --> not sure how going to w3schools would help him any.
We need more info on what you're having problems with.I've set up phpBB...
Personally, alot of hoop-la to me...
Easier to set up Ivision Power Board Forums...
Alot more simple, only gotta CHMOD three folders,
and a quick CHMOD for one file...thats it.
phpBB, first u gotta know xctly what
type of databae you got....
Then gotta enter ur DB name, user name, password,
and the lil set of numbers your host should provide.
(forget what the lil numbers fall under)
Then of course, the most important part,
make SURE the database table is:
phpbb_ (should be that by default)
This will help later if you want to pull
something like I did, and make another set of forums.
