Can anyone assist, I have built up a database online which I now want to transfer to my local machine, I can download the file as txt or with a .sql extension from phpmyadmin, which my ISP has installed. But here is the problem can anyone tell me how to get MySQL on my machine to create the table and populate it from the downloaded file, is it even possible?. I am very new to this so if anyone can assist with simple instructions or advice I would be grateful.
